Using the app, individuals can:

Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) is structured around seven diabetes self-care behaviors, known as the ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors®. Diabetes care and education specialists can help you set priorities and work with you on improving your own management in each of the following areas:

  • Monitoring - Tracking data influencing diabetes outcomes.
  • Problem Solving - Identifying and solving issues for better diabetes outcomes.

Users need internet access to view and share glucose data in the Dexcom CLARITY app. The app is compatible with mobile devices operating on: 
• iOS 13.0 and up 
• Android OS 9.0 and up.

For successful data syncing, patients must:
• use the Dexcom Mobile CGM app

• have a smartphone with mobile internet access.

Is Dexcom Clarity Safe and Secure?

The CLARITY app does not share user data with third parties. Also, Dexcom encrypts user data during transit, ensuring its security from the device to the server.

App users can view historical data to identify patterns in their glucose levels. CLARITY data may guide patients and their health care providers when adjusting activity levels, medications, and eating patterns.

 

 

Professional Portal Availability:

Dexcom CLARITY for professionals allows health care providers to view patient glucose data through a clinic portal. The desktop portal enables care partners to:

  • view an Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP)
  • generate comparison charts
  • analyze trend reports
  • have data-informed conversations with patients.

Users can securely share CLARITY data to their clinic’s portal by entering a clinic-corresponding code on the app to authorize data sharing.

The CLARITY app is free to download on Apple and Android devices. No license or subscription is needed.
